"I didn't know you had a sister, Potter."
I don't know if fanfics are commonly reviewed but personally, I think fanfiction is a part of the evolution of literature. There should be no discrimination in the world of literature, so watch me review fangirl and gushed about this!
Potter? is a Draco Malfoy and reader fanfiction. Means, Draco Malfoy was paired by the reader (which is us, yey!). To make the story more interesting, the reader is Harry Potter's sister and instead of being a Gryffindor, she was sorted into Slytherin house. On the first day of classes, she (or we? I'm confused about which pronoun to use. Let's stick with "she", okay?) met Draco Malfoy.
I am deeply in love with this fan fiction, I rarely read one, but if I did, it would be Draco Malfoy fanfiction. Why Draco? I don't even know! I guess I'm just so into villains or hot antagonist men. Emphasise on "hot" because if they don't, cross them out. Do you think Voldemort deserves fan fiction? No.
I like that she's sassy and always has a witty come back to Draco. In the fanfiction, we're portrayed to be the darker side of Harry Potter. Everyone feared her because as Ron said, "there's no Slythterin who hasn't gone mad."
The story followed the original Harry Potter storyline, the author's writing was magnificent. I liked that the author really took care of the characters' age to be in legal age. So no funny business in the first two years. Though it is not required, fanfiction mostly has smut, which most of the readers wanted. I love that the smut here was minimal, with more than 156 chapters, there's only four smut chapters.
I love how laid back Draco is here. His love for her was undeniable especially that he did everything Voldemort said to him just to protect her.
There's also a sapphic representation by Wren Inkwood and Luna Lovegood. I felt like she's/reader is really so attractive here that Ron and Blaise liked her. The character development of Pansy and the reader/us/her was awesome, likewise with Draco.
In this story, Hermione was a bit bland for me. I think the author tried to portrayed Hermione but failed, it seems like Hermione personality here wasn't build up properly. Harry Potter here is a protective brother, though Harry was the real protagonist, he doesn't have a bunch of scenes with the reader/us and I love it! We are the star of this fanfic.
I have A LOT of favorite scenes here. The story was hilarious, steamy, and heart warming. The friendships and relationships that was build was so good. The build up, the slow burn romance, all Draco's lazy smirk, huffed, laugh, and funny, witty come backs really laid out so good; I really enjoyed this and fell deeply in love, hence the book hangover I'm experiencing right now.
These scenes really stick with me:
- Draco crying in the bathroom when confronted of what is happening and he's avoiding us/reader all of a sudden, then he confessed his feelings.
- When Draco gave his favorite book when the reader/us was locked up in Malfoy Manor.
- When all the death eaters was gone on Malfoy Manor, Draco and the reader/us cooked pasta then Snape cought us/reader and Draco making out. *cry of embarassment*
- When us/reader pointed our wands to Ron's girlfriend (no, not Hermione) when she mentioned what happened on Christmas Eve which was so badass that even Ron got scared. (Lol)
- The rain scene! Draco and the reader/us discussing why Muggles find rain so romantic.
- The "Common room at 1." scene. No, I won't elaborate but I was screaming and kicking my feet!
- When us/reader found out what Albus Dumbledore last will and testament.
- I lowkey love when Draco's mother gave us/reader our wand when we're sneaking out of Malfoy Manor. I felt like she accepted that her son is deeply in love with a Potter.
- When Draco stealed clothes for us/reader while we're distracting the muggle vendor. I mean, Draco wanted that distraction too!
- Lastly, the epilogue. It was so short and I wanted more! When Draco was worried about sending thier children to Hogwards. Particularly this scene;
"One way to find out what?"
"Wouldn't want you to know, Malfoy."
"Yes, actually, I'd love to know—Malfoy."

HOLY FUCK. My heart. I don't think this is a review anymore, you just read how I fangirl to this. With those scenes I laid out, it'll be questionable if you haven't read this yet. Unless you're not a fan of fanfiction, of course.
This story is gonna be my undoing. It'll be a death of me.
Potter? is a slow burn romance, action-packed, with thrill and mysteries. The relationships, friendships, banters, come backs, twists, and all was a chef kiss from me. Once again, I repeat, I'm deeply in love!
